Working Holiday Visa (IEC)
Want to work and travel in Canada for a period of up to 2 years? Are you between the ages of 18 and 35? Does your country have a bilateral youth agreement with Canada? If you answered yes, yes and yes, the International Experience Canada (IEC) immigration program could be your pathway to a Working Holiday Visa.
A Working Holiday Visa allows holders to work for Canadian employers throughout the country and across a wide variety of industries, without the need to receive an official job offer before processing an application. And better yet, the turnaround time to complete the process is only 12 weeks on average.
The two main advantages of a Canadian Working Holiday Visa are the opportunity it will allow you to fund your vacation with temporary work in Canada. In addition, to gain valuable work experience in Canada, which will enable you to improve your CRS score and possibly qualify for permanent residency via one of the Express Entry visa programs.
